I am a psychoanalyst, researcher, and lecturer, with a career shaped by clinical listening, critical pedagogy, and a commitment to thinking psychoanalysis through the lens of Brazilian and Latin American social realities.
My academic background includes a Master’s and PhD in School and Human Development Psychology from the University of São Paulo (USP), as well as a postgraduate degree in Psychopathology and Public Health. I was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, where I also taught classes, seminars, and lectures in the Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies. This experience deepened my commitment to a psychoanalysis that connects theory, politics, culture, and care.
I am the founder of Winnicott in the Tropic, a learning community dedicated to studying D. W. Winnicott’s work through the tensions and potentials of our history, affections, and collective life. I offer courses, study groups, and mentorship programs that seek to decolonize psychoanalytic knowledge, supporting professionals interested in a practice attuned to the subjective and social complexities of our time.
In my clinical practice, I work with adolescents, adults, and couples — Brazilians and expatriates — in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. I have experience supporting people facing anxiety, depression, existential crises, and questions around identity and sexuality. I also work with brief therapy and career guidance, always prioritizing a welcoming, ethical, and transformative listening. The psychoanalysis I practice is alive, situated, and respectful of the richness of human experience.

Uma escola de pensamento para quem quer ir além da leitura tradicional de Winnicott.
A Winnicott nos Trópicos nasceu de uma pergunta: o que acontece com a teoria winnicottiana quando levamos a sério as condições históricas, sociais e culturais da experiência brasileira?
A partir da pesquisa que desenvolvi no doutorado pela USP, proponho a Matriz Interseccional de Sustentação (MIS) — uma reorganização teórica que investiga como diferentes condições de existência participam da sustentação do sujeito desde os primeiros momentos da vida.
Não se trata apenas de estudar Winnicott de maneira mais aprofundada.
Trata-se de perguntar o que precisa ser revisto na própria teoria quando ela encontra o Brasil.
